| This paper introduces the whole process of Jiangmen nuclear fuel project from preparation to cancellation, and the causes of the event are discussed.Through investigation and study,the public attitudes and participation in nuclear is described, which includes the lack of nuclear science knowledge in current Chinese people,lagging of nuclear science popularization,insufficient public participation,low information transparency and ineffective information feedback system.Finally,it is suggested that we should find out the current situation,accelerate the legislation,continuously raise the level of nuclear safety,reallocate resources for nuclear science and technology dissemination,innovate the mode of nuclear science popularization,promote public participation,and enhance information disclosure as well as information feedback. |
