| In order to provide heat load both for winter heating and process devices, a natural gas purification plant needs to establish a heating system. According to the demand of user side, a steam-boiler heating system or a heat-conducting oil heating system can be employed for the plant. From investment, operation, management and maintenance, a scheme comparison between two heating systems was carried out in this paper. The heat-conduction oil heating system has the advantages of low operation and maintenance costs. It does not need water and can be installed outdoors. The heat conducting oil has a low pour point and is suitable for the local cold weather conditions. The heat-conducting oil heating system was thus recommended for the plant, and the heating scheme was presented in detail. |
