| 中国汽车保有量快速增加，汽车产业面临着严峻的能源形势。为减少国家对进口石油的依赖性，必须建立有关燃油经济性标准，以大幅提高车辆经济性，节约石油。美国公司平均燃油经济性标准历经近三十年的发展，建立了较为严密的体系，对中国将来政策的制定有一定的借鉴意义。 |

| Motor vehicle population is increasing rapidly in China, and the automobile industry faces a serious energy supply problem. A fuel economy standard must be established in China in order to improve vehicle fuel economy, conserve oil resources and reduce dependence on oil import. The corporate average fuel economy standard of USA has been developing for nearly 30 years, and a complete system has been established. It can be used for reference when China fuel economy policy will be established in the future. |
