| The necessity and significance for developing renewable energy in China were explicated in this paper. The Chinese governments position on developing renewable energy and the policies in support of the development were summarized, inclusive of related macro-policies, policy of opening to the outside, and economic policies. Some state-level demonstration projects for renewable energy were briefed and suggestions for improvement on the policies pertinent to renewable energy were offered. |
