| In recent years, rapid urbanization of rural areas in China has led to significant increase in production of municipal waste. According to statistics, municipal waste produced annually in China amounts to ca. 146 Mt. The disposal of municipal waste has therefore become an increasingly serious environmental and economical problem. In this paper, the technique for waste-to-energy power generation using liquefied waste was described, which has found application in France. The application of municipal waste incineration for power generation in China was also illustrated. |
