| Up to date, the EHD technique (Electrohydrodynamics) has developed into an active method of heat transfer enhancement, to which more and more importance has been attached. In this paper, the importance of the electric-field properties to the EHD technique and the status quo of the corresponding research work were analyzed. The deficiencies and problems in the present research work were presented on the basis of a summary of the results from other researchers. Suggestions on the experimental and theoretical investigations in the effect of the electric-field properties were offered for the further research and development of the EHD technique. |
