| Frosting on refrigerating plants exerts a negative influence on heat transfer. It will lead to a decrease of heat-transfer coefficient and an increase of flow resistance of air. This paper summarized the research works on frosting and defrosting on heat exchangers reported in the literature. It also illustrated some important parameters to help system designers to select and understand design parameters correctly, which makes plants run efficiently. |
